1983年宮城県生まれ、東京の田舎在住。

大学院（森林動物学）中退後、写真の道へ。

傍らの自然から熱帯のジャングルまで、地球を旅し生命をみつめている。

写真集に『密怪生命』(講談社)、『生命の森明治神宮』(講談社)、『変形菌』(技術評論社)があり、『National Geographic』誌などでも写真を発表している。

2018年日本写真協会賞新人賞

2019年 Horizonte International Photo Award(ドイツ)

Travels around the world, seeking dialogue with forms of life.

Photo book titles include MikkaiSeimei (Kodansha), MEIJI JINGU Forest of Life (Kodansha), and Henkeikin Myxomycetes (Gijutsu-Hyohron).

Won the 2018 Photographic Society of Japan Newcomer’s Award and 2019 Horizonte International Photo Award (Germany).
